Does anyone have any experience with these things? Do they give a cut closer than outliners, and do the blades hold up for a reasonable amount of time? (my last expereince with an electric razer, the blades only lasted about two uses, and cost around $25-50 to replace :scust:)

shyts are trash, buy a T liner. Preferably a whaul Detailer T. You dont have to modify the blade. come out the box cutting.

But ultimately learn how to use a safety razor. You save a shyt load of money. you could buy a 100 pack of good blades for 15-20 dollars. Swap out the blade every 2 or 3 cuts. I taught myself how to use a single blade and a Safety razor. Only time I use my liners and my clippers is to fade the side of my beard.

I have both, the skull shaver works better for me. I don't know how often you're supposed to change blades but I haven't yet and it still works.been bout 3, 4 months

I really wanted the skull shaver type devices to work for me when shaving my head, but I always end up breaking out for some reason. shyt would be done so quickly and cleanly.

I rock a baldy and I use Gillette Fusion 5’s for my head and I go the the barber for my beard but I have Andis T Liners to keep my clean between beard cuts.

I've had the same Andis T outliners for over 10 years. Was about to buy a new pair on Amazon and saw I could purchase the only the top piece for 15$. Joints cutting like brand new.

:blessed: Cut my hair this morning before work.

I usually do the baldy in the summer, so I used a skull shaver this year. I think I'll be using that going forward. My skin is ridiculously sensitive when it comes to shaving, so even using a three blade razor was trash for me. The shaver gave me a nice close shave, and reduced the razor burn and bumps.

I break out SO MUCH when I try to use a straight edge on my head. That's why I have to use the Andis clippers.
