Its because the blades irritate the skin. You cant go over the same spot continuously. Especially because those razors irritate the skin and cuts below the skin. And last but not least black men have to cut the natural pattern of their hair. Everyone is different but its usually cut down on the sides and back of the head. And forward on the top. Never against the grain. Only way you can go against the grain is with a T Blade.

I've had the same Andis T outliners for over 10 years. Was about to buy a new pair on Amazon and saw I could purchase the only the top piece for 15$. Joints cutting like brand new.

:blessed: Cut my hair this morning before work.

No damn Gillettes workin on a black mans head, and not breakin em out. U probably use some BRUTE aftershave, after it too.
I’m black but my hair isn’t as curly, so I can shave with razors… I use Givenchy aftershave though.

shyts are trash, buy a T liner. Preferably a whaul Detailer T. You dont have to modify the blade. come out the box cutting.

But ultimately learn how to use a safety razor. You save a shyt load of money. you could buy a 100 pack of good blades for 15-20 dollars. Swap out the blade every 2 or 3 cuts. I taught myself how to use a single blade and a Safety razor. Only time I use my liners and my clippers is to fade the side of my beard.
