Andrade Warns Friends Against Signing With WWE


WWE has a lot of Superstars on their roster and even more are on the way, however, the company won’t get getting a couple of major signings because of a suggestion from Andrade.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Andrade told Rush and Dragon Lee that WWE “isn’t what it’s cracked up to be.” It’s no secret that Andrade was unhappy, however, this was certainly a bold move to make to belittle your current employer in such a way.

Andrade actually received a push recently and a lot of that could have been due to the fact that he is unhappy with the company. We will have to wait and see how his current program with Rey Mysterio washes out, but he’s in a good position with a winning record against the legendary luchador.

Rush signed a contract with ROH which actually pulled him from some big indie shows in the United States. Dragon Lee is also someone that WWE has expressed a lot of interest in, but they were unable to make a deal work.

If Andrade was really talking about the company in this way it’s no real surprise that WWE would want to keep him happy. Because he is a very influential man and has many talented friends.

Not everyone can come in and be shot to the moon. Sometimes you gotta grind it out before you get that great program or ultimate top spot.

I'm not with Almas on this. Now if in, say, 3 years he's done nothing of significance besides lowly title feud here or makeshift feud there, then I will be on his side. But dude hasn't even been on the roster for a full year yet.

Not that hard to look around the locker room and talk with/see people like Rusev, Finn Balor, Nakamura, Bobby Roode, The Revival, AOP, etc. who have been misused and discarded once they were called up from NXT.

He was literally doing nothing in the main roster before those last two weeks tho.
He's too talented to be wasted, his match with Mysterio had a lot of buzz and the crowd was really into it, proof that he is a huge asset and should be treated as such.

He needs an US title run in the next few months or atleast be used in significant feuds with other important talents, his recent rivalry with Rey is a good start.

There are just too many wrestlers in WWE right now for everyone to get some shine. They try to spread the TV time around and it results in nobody feeling larger than life or being a stand out and when they focus on only a few characters, the rest of the talent gets shafted.

People bring up the Attitude Era but they only had 30-40 on air talents at that time. They have more than that on each individual brand right now
