I'm blowed about them being cockblocked on the music, but I'm still really excited about this movie. I've been hearing about this for years and just assumed it was never going to see the light of day.

If this movie has good reviews, maybe he'll have to confidence to release his album.

The movie looks good to me. John Reily has been writing since "Martin" and "Fresh Prince". He just won an Oscar for "12 years" and he's directing and writing this. I'm upset the estate didn't support this. Andre 3000 looks like HENDRIX perfectly. I can't believe it won't go into his classic music. SMH. At the same time I'm hearing they didn't go to the estate at the proper time and didn't get much imput. It's sad cause this could of been an Epic Bio Pic if it did Hendrix entire life up to his death instead of just focusing on one period.

The estate has been working on a Jimi movie, with Anthony Mackie playing Jimi, for years and that's why the Andre 3000 can have any music along with the estate didn't approve the of the script
