Eh wouldn't surprise me, I think Big is highly overrated, especially with what he could write (flow/delivery was great though). He didn't really have many verses that made me say "damn that's great," although he could come up with good punchlines/metaphors/one liners. Andre has deeper subject matter imo and that makes for better verses from beginning to end, and he is probably more technically proficient tbh. Although at the same time, Big wasn't around for that long either and who knows how he would have developed.

i like Andre more as an artist over BIG. But idk OP. If we're going to compare them head to head. I'd give BIG an edge when it comes to flows and catalogue. And plus Andre has never given us a full solo hiphop album. Andre is a hell of an artist but It's a major disappointment he never gave the people that album.

biggie is just a guy who could rap and died with some songs in the top 20 list. no guy with only 2 albums deserves the praise he receives. i do give respect on the fact that he had an entire coast stanning for him because all the other rappers out there were shyt at the time(in comparison) except for nas.

all classic verses. more impactful than any biggie verses. verses that stimulate your brain unlike that typical buffoonery about drugs and money from biggie(nothing wrong with that though)
