If he does announce he's dropping a solo album after all this bullshyt, it would be one of the most anticipated albums ever. The buzz would be epic. Maybe that's his master plan. One can only hope.

I'm ready for whatever they have to give us. I went to the show at Centennial Park on Friday. shyt was crazy. I met 3 new lil chicks and I ran into several old friends from middle school, high school, and college. Kast the GOATs.
One of my fb friends who moved to atl a few yrs ago said that show was. INCREDIBLE.

Janelle Monet ripped the stage too

I want him and 'kast to make more music but I can't really blame him if he feels like that. Outkast debut dropped in '94, look at how the game is now vs back then. He has to be :mjlol:at 99.99% of the shyt that's considered hot in this era.

i hear ya, but i doubt it..look at the wack artists he's collaborated with in the past 8 years or so

rich boy, unk, kesha etc

but like i've said for years every year he says his solo dropping next year.

and now this

and people keep falling for it

Word. let it go at this point. If he's barely inspired to do it, then I don't want to hear it. He's been a cocktease for almost a decade now with this rap solo but if it's not out now and if he barely has the motivation to do it, don't do it.

That 'Outkast been around 20 years' excuse as to why he doesn't want to make music anymore doesn't hold up. It's one thing to ACTUALLY RAP for 20 years, it's another to have had your first album come out 20 years ago. In reality, that nikka's rap career stopped when Outkast stopped consistently putting out albums. Yes, there was Speakerboxxx/The Love Below and the Idlewild sountrack afterwards, but it ain't like this nikka has just put out mad music in 20 years. I fukk with old Kast, but Andre 3000 is a fukking diva.

Man it was great! Janelle Monet definitely did her thing. I'm not really up on her music like that, but the songs were good I might have to check her out. All that stage fright shyt Dre was talking in the interview seemed non-existant. He was up there clowining and joking damn near more than Big Boi. Those cats have crazy chemistry. I miss that real music. Place was packed with people from all walks of life. Man it was sooooo many chicks out there. Just groups of bad ass black chicks with no dude. I wish I didn't go with a chick to the show. I was still able to break off and chop it up with a few nice pieces though.

He did those collabos for the same reason Dave Chapelle pops up in hole in the wall clubs and performs....he loves doing it and probably would've given anyone a verse at the time.

But I seriously doubt he heard Unk like :ohhh:"this is why I started rapping, let me get on this!". Which is his problem nowadays. Dude called out the East coast at the height of their power, at The Source awards....collaboed with Slick Rick, and Wu at their peak, went 3x plat in an era that wasn't really fukking with the South....this era offers absolutely nothing to a rapper of that caliber, in terms of excitement.
