Jada has solo albums and even his most die hard fans say they are mediocre. They still have him ranked highly due to his guest verses. I don't see the difference between that and Andre 3000. So because Jada proved he could make a solo album, he gets elevated? Every rapper that is considered great, did far more than prove they could drop a solo album. They are greats based on what they were able to do with their music and how it moved culture. In that regard, Andre 3000 is a great.
Now if somebody said Andre 3000 isn't a GOAT because he doesn't have a GOAT level solo, then we have a solid argument that disqualifies him from Top 10 lists. All this, he needs to prove he can drop a solo rap album talk can go. Because we all know if he drips one solo rap album, no matter how good it is, the goal posts will then move to, well, most artists in a Top 10 have at least two great solo albums.
No it proves the opposite. Jada cant make a good album. He's not that kind of rapper, and thats why hes never ranked as highly as his features would lead you to believe.
But he's still ranked high and campaigns that he's top 5 DOA (something you don't see Andre 3000 doing).
What I'm saying is that if Jada is ranked based on his guest verses, it is contradictory to say Andre 3000 shouldn't rank because he has no solo material as if Jada ranks based on his solo material.
