Jada has solo albums and even his most die hard fans say they are mediocre. They still have him ranked highly due to his guest verses. I don't see the difference between that and Andre 3000. So because Jada proved he could make a solo album, he gets elevated?

jadakiss has classic solo street tapes tho. and most of his fans are in the streets. that's why he gets elevated.

also, real jada fans don't say hes mediocre. his albums are disappointing in the sense that theyre not remotely close to classics, but they still get inescapable amounts of play in his major markets.

They are greats based on what they were able to do with their music and how it moved culture. In that regard, Andre 3000 is a great.

Now if somebody said Andre 3000 isn't a GOAT because he doesn't have a GOAT level solo, then we have a solid argument that disqualifies him from Top 10 lists. All this, he needs to prove he can drop a solo rap album talk can go. Because we all know if he drips one solo rap album, no matter how good it is, the goal posts will then move to, well, most artists in a Top 10 have at least two great solo albums.

Classic solo street tapes, having dissappointing albums, but no classics is exactly what I'm getting at:

Nas, Jay, Biggie, Ra, Pac don't appear on Top 5 lists because of street tapes. They are there because they have classic music even if some of it is disappointing, the fact that they have classics even iconic albuns outweighs it. This is why Jada or even Andre shouldn't be in GOAT discussions unless the discussion is based on skill/talent.
