TYRONE GA!
The only reason he even did the tour was out of respect for Big. That's it.

Get over it.

And then the label won't even let Dre get on a song with Big and Vice Versa...they can only produce for each other. shyt sucks.

I guess the curtain is closed......

If he had respect for big boi he wouldn't take every chance he gets to shyt on their tour together. Every time they interview about outkast he goes out of his way to make it be known he didn't really want to be there and no album is gonna happen.

Dre just THINKS alot. Its a problem "us" thinkers have and its even worse for thinkers that try and take a higher moral ground or have some type of honor or code, its why we don't like to try to explain everything people want to know. It always comes out wrong, or pretentious.
:salute:

meanwhile the cotdamn rolling stones are THRIVING on their UMPTIETH tour..
3 Stacks should not worry.. he and Big Boi already are GOAT status

He was already teetering on the edge of checking out a long time ago and this label business was what pushed him off. I don't really have an issue with his candid take on his rap career, it's whatever at this point. Dre's beyond the point of recapturing any love he once had for the game, he just grew out of it and like it's been said in here he 'thinks too much', and while I don't agree there is such a thing - it's half the reason why he was such a great writer.

It makes me respect Big so much more because he still stands by Dre. That's loyalty like a mufukka. He's a better man thatn 99.9% of cats for that.

Yeah, Dre has costed that man so much money it's ridiculous. You gotta respect Big Boi for going out there and getting it on his own and never holding it against Dre for changing.

I understand why he'd feel apprehensive about performing old songs over and over because as an artist you constantly want to create but the whole "sell out" thing seems weird to me. You WROTE these songs and they are universally recognized as classics so how could you be selling out?
