How do you figure?!?! Like literally ? FYI I’m a young white man, so I know how old CACs think. They think only a certain % of the population can rise to the top, BC they believe only a small % will work that hard. I’m saying that’s straight up bullshyt. Also, I’m using my 9-5 hustle to gain capital while I build MY OWN shyt. If you don’t believe me I can tag 5 Coli cats who know it to be true. My orbit is tight as fukk, I’m too old to hang with losers. So Idk what you talkin about fam, or why you’d come across disrespectful for no reason. One.
Now you a victim of disrespectful talk. Foh you truly are white with that bullshyt logic. I drop a curse word or two and now it’s all this disrespect Foh. It don’t matter what race you are you’re talking stupid talk on this topic. I don’t care about what they saying but most people don’t work hard and just get their paychecks and call it a day. Since that’s the case fukk these cats bytching about? Also Idgaf who on co signs you fam doesn’t change my POV on this topic. Just stop being a fukking victim that shyt for girl dude not no fukking men.

I guess Malcolm was speaking cac shyt too :manny: cac shyt to me is slaving for cacs and begging them for a job but we think different. Keep up what you doing tho, I'm sure it'll get you generational wealth :manny:
Most people will never be in a position to accumulate generational wealth in a capitalist society. That’s not an indictment on their character.

:jbhmm: I feel like that mentality is less rare than you or andre think. I think most people just don't have the ability/resources to work without getting paid without going homeless or starving to death. Most people don't even have an "all" to lose for a business.:francis:

This...as a finance major, the funding aspect gets lost behind the idea.

You have to have an idea, which not everyone has. Then you need personal income/money to live on while getting the business off the ground.

You'll likely need a small biz loan plus some degree of accounting and tax accounting knowledge to actually understand if you have adequate cash flows (how do you account for depreciation of existing assets, what kind of debt payments are you making to get the biz going etc.).

It's a great way to go if you have the resources. Problem is that in order to get the resources, you'll have to work REALLY hard as a worker bee in another job to build up the cash reserves. If you're good enough at that job, you might find yourself in a lucrative career where the cost/benefit analysis makes it pointless to leave.

Most biz owners either come from money, had a crazy innovative idea or were in a situation where they had to work for themselves and couldn't make money any other way.

At the end of the day the dude had to hoop at Davidson. There is nothing easy about the transition of playing ball at a school like Davidson and becoming a superstar. He did that on his own with his work ethic. Hell, Michael Jordan's sons were far more well-off than steph and look how they turned out. Same can be said for countless former players. Secondly, he didn't "luck" into a great team. Those teams were great because of him largely.

Makes me wonder about his brother. Same parents, same house...did the DNA roll of the dice give Steph a little extra boost or did Steph work 20% harder than Seth? Hard to say.

Hard work, luck, fortunate upbringing and genetics all matter for sure.

lebron actually defends Steph, I was thinking more of westbrook and cp3 they never have anything good to say about him. :yeshrug:

Also how Steph took Lebron's shine come on now :comeon:
Yea lebrons still been the face of the league since steph came on as a superstar.

I cant say westbrook cause hes also another guy every player hates. You dont get on the most overrated list playing at his level if theres no jealousy

the ether
So you think Steph gets all that hate due to him growing up rich? Klay grew up the same way and doesn't get the same hate.

I don't think Steph gets that much hate at all. On The Coli he gets critiqued because he shoots a ton of threes and he's light-skinned, outside the Coli he's one of the most popular players in the world. He's never had anything close to the hate that a LeBron or a Kobe has faced, even MJ used to have more haters during his prime.

I was just referring to the accusation that some people don't like him because he has a "perfect life". I'm saying those people more likely don't like that he has had it easy. But I don't think there are a ton of such people either way.

Beloved by who:gucci:. The coli shyts on him on a daily basis and espn literally just released a video 2 days ago (the playoffs has been over for over week now) shytting on him/his lack of clutchness and you got analyst like max kellerman,Rob parker,Skip, perkins et al who speak against him with utter disgust and every forum and youtube video involving him is filled with vitriol from rival fans who always paint him as a no FMVP having, one trick pony, unclutch, mentally weak, overrate player .

Tell another lie.
And y'all try to say that GS fans aren't entitled? :dead:

Breh, The Coli shyts on EVERYONE. Other than that, you just listed ESPN shytting on him ONCE (as if they haven't shyt on every player in the NBA at least once) and then you get upset that he has any critics at all, as if EVERY player doesn't have critics.

Actual receipts:

To be as popular and successful as Curry is today without suffering a backlash would seem impossible. But this is a player who has made us accustomed to the impossible.

Is Steph Curry the most likable star in Bay area history?

Curry is the 2nd most popular American athlete in the world

Curry has the most popular jersey in the NBA last year

Curry had had the most popular jersey since 2016

LeBron switching to the Lakers is what it took to move Curry to #2 this year

Curry is the #2 most popular player on social media

Article literally starts with the tagline "Steph Curry is one of the most beloved players in the NBA"

Or this one: "Steph Curry is the NBA's most beloved megastar"

Steph Curry is beloved by casual fans and national media

Ranker list of most hated players: Curry is buried down at #17.

Another list puts Curry at #12

Curry has a few haters - no one could be at the center of a "superteam" like the Warriors without getting them. No one can get super-popular without have some backlash. But the idea that he has some overwhelming and unfair level of hatred is just one more example of the intense entitlement that Golden State players and fans have been projecting for the last five years. :heh:
