This is why you can't have conversations of any substance on this particular section. Nowhere did I say any of this, but Mr c00n decided to create this narrative.the solution is to beg the white man for a job and wait for reparations.
So where’s your billion dollarsGoogle will make anyone rich.

Exactly. Breh tried to pick himself up by his bootstraps in quicksand. The character was supposed to be an idiot, but our stupid American society took that as an ideal to live by.Also the man who coined bootstraps was saying it in jest. I mean think about it. Although most of you don't. How would one pull themselves up by their boot straps. You would be pulling your feet off the ground and falling on your ass. Which was his point. The masses can't work their way out of poverty alone. It takes collective bargaining and systemic change.
Why is this concept so hard for people to grasp? In general people like stability and security. Working hard as a worker is different than working hard to be an owner/boss. Are there other factors? ABSOLUTELY... What that doesn't change is: Given all the opportunity in the world most people would still squander it (myself likely included) because people tend to lack the drive to really push themselves to be successful.
Most people view "work" as 40 hours a week and collect paycheck and go home. Not willing to deal with work issues 24/7 or be responsible for for handling problems when others aren't available. Just because executives aren't doing "physical" work that doesn't mean they don't work hard. They also face a lot of stress, scrutiny and pressure that an entry level employee doesn't have to deal with.
I thought iggy actually used a pretty good explanation of how most people never find their passion and/or don't exhibit the perseverance needed to reach the top. People always focus on the "other factors" which while valid, leads to ignoring the biggest factor of intrinsic motivation.

Unplug the wire from the back of your head breh. Think about attainable success and build from there. This all or nothing is distracting you and it’s all by design. So where’s your billion dollars![]()
Nah man don’t try to squirm away now with your rich dad poor dad quotesUnplug the wire from the back of your head breh. Think about attainable success and build from there. This all or nothing is distracting you and it’s all by design.

I pay for tools that make me $$$. Does a auto mechanic not pay for his tool box. Distraction is why people are broke. That instant gratification of your corny jokes to make yourself feel temporarily better even though it doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things.nikka you obviously paid for the internet and whatever device you are using. What most of us are saying is it's bullshyt to ignore those other factors. Yes there are a lot of people stuck in shytty positions due to lack of work ethic but to paint the picture that the only reason people aren't in the 1% is due not having a work ethic is ridiculous when there are so many other factors that go into including a little bit of luck. I'm far from a 1%er but living very comfortably. It took a lot of luck (combined with a lot of grinding on my end) to end up in my position and a lot of bad luck (and a misstep on my end) to not be in a more prosperous position. There are so many factors that determine success/failure that it's preposterous to narrow it down to strictly work ethic.

Iggy is wrong. Real life gets in the way of this so called perseverance. If I have a child and family whose immediate needs I need to focus on, one aint thinking about self sacrifice for a greater goal anymore....theyre trying to feed their family.
Honestly, yall niqqas need to stop taking this how to make it out of poverty advice from athletes who won the genetic lottery
