To me Iggy ain't the problem. The problem is that Klay has seemingly regressed this year. The Warriors number wise are like 3rd in the league defensively. If Klay was more consistent from game to game combined with the way they've been playing defense and the Warriors would be dangerous. Klay was playing great defense by the end of last year and seemed damn near as dangerous as Curry while starting to show a penetration game. This year he seems to settle more for jumpers and it doesn't seem as money. Been real streaky. GS fans can tell me if I'm wrong.

- is an elite defender
- can handle the ball
- can attack the rim
- can run the floor
- can shoot decently

That was never gonna work in the long run for obvious reasons. They'll always be better off with a 1-3 made up of: Curry, Klay, Iggy.

That's the biggest problem, by a fair magin, but nobody wants to admit it, because it's more fun to attribute it to Iggy cause he's a 'c00n'.

Klays production would be more consistent if he posted up more. Hes really good in the post but rarely uses that part of his game and relies on jumpers too much. His numbers wouldnt be so up and down if he did that more often.

The problem was going into a season with such a bad bench.

Barnes not lighting it up the way they thought he would was the thing that made their bench look so much worse. But that isn't Barnes fault. They had a bench like OKC did for a while with one guy being the only real offensive option & the other guys just chipping in or being there mainly for defense. The problem is Barnes isn't capable of getting his own like Harden was & needs to be set up. Playing with the starters last year got him open/better looks & made him look a lot better than what he is at this point.

I still don't think Iggy is the long term answer either..Klay has the size and defensive ability to play the 3 for long stretches and the offense looked more fluent when Steph was off the ball last year..Eventually they are probably gonna end up finishing with the same results with a much bigger cap hit..
