What does sayin somethin "dope" have to do with anything?:what:

The fact that he rhymed the 9 syllables IS whats dope.

Nah breh...you need to be saying something unique, creative & interesting...anybody can string together a bunch of sylllables...not saying the verse as a whole wasn't hittin or anything...but that line itself was nothing special.

How you string together a ridiculous amount of syllables in a couple bars...while having a fire ass line

ok @PhonZhi here is what multi-syllable rhyming is it's exactly what it says more then one syllable rhyming
not rhyming consonants or consonants and syllables just vowels aka syllables.

high beams, I-beams, ice cream, visine, Lime Green, Pine Trees, Siamese, Chinese, fly sneaks

consonants do not have to match exactly for a word to rhyme. The vowel and core syllables of the words match.

EYE-EEE
&
EYE-EEE

It's called assonance and every multi user ever has used the technique.

Big Pun, Kool G Rap, and Eminem come to mind

Well, it's real simple.

If two words rhyme with "perfect" rhyme, the last accented vowel sound and all sounds after that are identical.

Example: Hit....Fit....Sit....lit.....

In assonace, just the vowel sound is important. The following consonant sounds don't have to be the same as in perfect rhyme.

Example: Trip, Fish, List, Rim....the short "i" sound

the great multisyllable rhyme scheme users like eminem g rap nas rakim even 2pac can rhyme a whole alot of syllables while being coherent u know making sense.

and saying something profound

I get that but when you as a rapper sit down writing a verse, especially one lyrically dense, the only words really coming to your head are the ones that rhyme. You can have a dope story or idea to rap about but if you want to rhyme tight you have to be in a rhyme mindset. He could have said the line in a much more simple manner if he chose, but he wanted to be very technically proficient in his raps (as he usually is), so in that way he did rhyme just to rhyme

Thats dope but i would say thats a repeated 3-syllable line: pro/ ba/ bly ough/ta/be mo/derat/ el to/ graph/ y and so forth

Im more impressed with Andre syllables. To me it was "special" becuz it made perfect sense within the context of the verse

Exactly, that's what's dope about it. Rhyming multiple syllables in and of itself is not impressive unless the way it fits into the verse (and into the line) is impressive. In this case it's a love song and he's spitting game at her while slipping in some witty lines while at the same time flexing his technicality. That's what makes the verse impressive.

Ok but i dont think its as easy as you say. Maybe u rap and write, i dont. Ill take your word

Ben/ja/min/ And/re /to /be/ ex/act

Gen/tle/man/ one/ day,/well/ this/ is/ that

Red, Blue, Bold = Don't rhyme
Green = Essentially the same "word" so it doesn't count
Purple = Stretching it.

4/9. would not bang.

Well it wouldnt be "rap" if he didnt rhyme AT ALL. Of course he could have said it simpler but thats what sets him apart. What i mean by "rhyme just to rhyme" is saying stuff that has absolutely nothing to do with the content of the verse. What he said sounded like a normal convo. It didnt sound "extra". Atleast not to me
