I think there is a chance it wont be, this may actually boost his career in some regards. He's officially part of the LGBT community and even though there is not a large quantity of them they seek power, especially politically.
The thing is if this happened if was the governor then they would come in droves to his defense. Will be interesting if he tries to get elected to office again which I think he will soon.
