Luck played poorly overall in that game, especially the first three quarters, but there's very few QBs in the league who are coming back from that deficit.
Luck can flip the switch and go 0-100 real quick, on anyone at anytime.
That's why Indy gonna continue to roll with him and have success regardless of how mad some of you get about it.
Especially when he starts leaving the pocket on runs. People forget dude had damn near the same combine performance as Newton.

Came back from way down on the Titans and helped get the W.
Team almost came back in every other loss except to the Bills.

It's only a matter of time before we get a coaching staff that can iron out some of Luck's issues that lead to him needing to come back in the first place.

Not a good barometer to use on the day that they fired their coach.

As long as Luck is a turnover machine, he will never be great.
Nothing else matters when you cannot keep the ball for your answer

While mechanics and footwork are important to a quarterback's completion percentage it can not be the only thing that contributes to that statistic. Andrew Luck has been called the most fundamentally sound quarterback and the most NFL ready quarterback in terms of mechanics to come out college in a long time. However, for all his great mechanics and talents as a pocket passer, Andrew Luck so far has a career completion percentage that is lower than Newton's at 58.6 percent. When Luck broke Newton's rookie passing record (4,051 yds), it took him 110 more attempts to set the new mark at (4,761 yds) the following year. Cam Newton has thrown 54 interceptions over 4 years but it appears that Luck is on track to throw more interceptions in the same time span as he has thrown 43 interceptions in just 3 years in the NFL.

Mechanics are very important but either Andrew Luck's mechanics are over-hyped or concern for Cam Newton's alleged poor mechanics are being overblown. Cam Newton ranks 7th all time in quarterback rating (85.4) for rookies that came in and started their first four years. Luck's ranking will not be known until he completes his fourth year but is not currently projected to surpass Newton's first four year rating unless he goes out and has his best year ever thus far.

I'm aware that the Titans are a terrible team.
My point is that after having a horrible day against them, Luck came back and threw three straight TDs to help erase a two score deficit.

Luck is having a poor year so far, but Luck has still shown flashes, that's why Indy gonna keep betting on him.

You can blame prevent defenses if you wanna, but if that's the case I'd advise teams to stop doing that shyt.
fukk around and blow a 2-3 score lead playing like that against Indy :steviej:

Cam throws interceptions at a higher rate than Luck. Luck throws an Int on 2.7% of his passes, Newton throws one on 2.9%

The only reason Luck is on track to throw more interceptions, is because he throws more passes.

Luck also throws a TD on 4.8% of his passes, vs 4.3% for Newton.

On any given pass, Luck is more likely to throw a touchdown, and less likely to throw an interception than Cam. Those are facts.

Andrew Luck has top performing wide receivers, Cam has WRs that drop passes and tip it into interceptions

When Luck throws picks they go straight into the defenders hands :sas1:

Andrew Lucks top receivers:

TY Hilton who has been getting thrown around all year, and who has never played without Luck. Is a top performing wr though.
Dante Moncrief, who is a nice 2 year player. Not a top performing wide receiver.
Andre Johnson who hasn't been a top performing wide receiver for two years. Probably one of the oldest WRs in the league. Isn't even in the game on all two WR sets cause he's nearly done.
Griff Whalen, trash token white WR4.
Fleener is a pretty good TE.
Allen is OK but injured all the time.

:martin:

Colts don't even have a top 5 WR corps but people always talk like they do. Doubt they are even top 10. The thing that is exciting about Indy isn't really how good they are now, but that they are all young and we have Luck. In a couple of years :whoo:

You want to criticize Luck for his interceptions, look at the one he threw in overtime.
Cam did the exact same thing at the end of the fourth quarter and almost gave Indy great field position but Vontae dropped it.

Same poor decision, two different outcomes.

That's exactly what's going on. Lions fans are used to seeing that with Stafford.

If that's what was going on last night, Panthers made a big mistake. Almost cost them a game.

I hope teams continue to do that against the Colts going forward. We will continue to come back on them.

It will not work in the playoffs. If you don't care about being down 2-3 scores nearly every week because of subpar QB play, then so be it. :manny:

Seemed to work just fine against the Chiefs.

And Indy has a history of slow starts under Chuck Pagano that goes all the way back to his first year as coach. It extends further back than this slump Luck has been in. Indy is notorious for slow starts and coming out flat and unprepared. That's one of the main reasons why Pagano is on the hot seat right now, and why Indy fans hate him so much. :clappagano:

But you wouldn't know that because you don't really watch Colts games like that.
