Ah yes.. Andre Johnson and Frank Gore were huge pickups :stopitslime:... (he has never had a rb)

Care to name the talent around him... not named Ty Hilton who is currently on 1 knee... I will wait :usure:

Curios as to why the Luck hate... its a known fact his oline is shyt.. I guess you know something Trent Dilfer, Steve Young and Ray Lewis don't know..

They were significant pickups. Gore not just for his running, one of the top blocking backs in the league who can occasionally make catches out of the backfield. Hilton, Johnson, Moncrief, D. Allen & Fleener is not a receiving corps to be complaining about as below average. You want to see an actual quarterback with little to no help? Try Cam.

Luck was only pressured on 11 of his 53 drop backs in week 1 against one of the best defenses in the game. That doesn't happen to a bottom 3 line. Yeah, I probably do have something those three don't and that's looking at this with an unbiased perspective free from the popular narratives that overwhelm sports entertainment today, especially at ESPN. There should be more discussion about his accuracy and decision making than the 100% focus that has been placed on the people around him. Why he shares no culpability is beyond me because in no way shape or form is he without blame for the Colts offensive performances this season

When the Colts win, 100% because of him. When the Colts lose, 100% because of his teammates. Thats bullshyt no other player in this league gets more preferential treatment

Luck had good protection against the Bills actually. That's not a bottom three offensive line, and people often exaggerate the lack of talent around him in order to shield his inaccurate throws or poor decisions.
Luck did not have good protection against the Bills, stop with the bullshyt

He was only sacked twice and pressured 11 times despite getting blitzed on well over half his drop backs. Didn't make this up out of thin air, you can read this here
IND-BUF Week 1 NFL Grades | ProFootballFocus.com

– The passing game struggled, but don’t point to the offensive line this time. In previous seasons, yes, the Colts’ line has been subpar, but they did a nice job holding up against a fierce Bills defense that blitzed QB Andrew Luck on 30 of his 53 dropbacks, but only managed to pressure him 11 times.

its ok to criticize Luck's performance you know. Far from perfect or a lock for top 5 QB in the game

Just wow...

55 ÷ 16 = 3.5 seasons worth of games

Now take that 3.5 number and multiple it times Luck average INTs a season (14) and you get: 50 additional interceptions to Luck's resume by the time he starts as many games Rodgers has done so far.

Sheesh :merchant:

There's not many QBs that wouldn't have won a SB with that defense :yeshrug:
:comeon: not many QBs can go toe to toe with that 9ers team the year they won it.. without Wilson 9ers would have gone that year... Luck would have turn it over against that 9ers D

That's why Luck beat the 9ers team that year right?
