yeah I agree - I understand that he was waiting on how his body will feel and all that, and I cant knock the overall decision to retire.

but its pretty shytty to a team this far into preseason.

but hes not going to get shat on by the media because the media adores him. doubt we'd ever hear THAT angle.
Irsay had been talking about how the shoulder injury had gotten into his head last year. Colts probably knew this was on the table but we’re hoping he’d decide against it.

If you're heart ain't into something anymore, you give it up. Worst case scenario, he could've suffered another serious injury/furthered damaged his body that's already hanging on by a thread.

Smart move...fukk playing football again. Retire and try to live life with a clean bill of health while you still can.
