Nevermind, you have none.

Misogynist who thinks black men own black women - Lie. Any objective person who watches Dr. Umar lectures knows that he goes out of his way to accommodate black women and espouse the principles of black men providing for and protecting black women. If anything, he asserts black people belonging to black people. And black people needing to do for black people first and foremost...that includes choosing black over non-black when it comes to dating and marriage.

Homophobe - Lie. Phobia means fear, and he's confirmed that he has no fear of homosexuals in many lectures. Only that he takes issue with their lifestyle.

Conspiracy theorist - Lie. He talks about white supremacist teachers and administrations shuffling black children, namely black boys into special education programs as a means to get more funding for less teaching. Ummm...many different scholars who have spoken on this. Hell, I've dated several teachers who've told me the same thing....before they even knew who Dr. Umar was.

Let's see....what other "conspiracies"? Economic deprivation of black people via destruction of wealth in black neighborhoods and denial of access to bank loans to finance businesses in black neighborhoods. All fact, which is too easy to research and confirm. No conspiracy there.

Hmmm...maybe mass incarceration. Not even worth typing.

Stolen money - TBD Lie. Until that money has been confirmed to have been used in a manner not befitting the purchase of a school campus, then you have no legs to stand on here.

Stripper - Ok, he had sex....with a stripper. He's a heterosexual, single male. Faux outrage.

Peace

Umar constantly suggests black women should be submissive to black men as if they are his property. He espouses hotep views on interracial relationships, arguing dating outside your race is a betrayal. And we see this fukkery on The Coli all the time in terms of "bedwench" accusations. It's pathetic.

I've heard Umar's talking point on homophobia/fear lol. It's weak. Arguing homophobia is a mental illness today is factually incorrect. Suggesting homosexuality makes black men weak, or insinuating this is all a part of an attempt to emasculate black men, is a conspiracy theory. There are plenty of masculine gay men, who fukking cares.

In terms of the money lmao breh you're lost. He has no feasible, explainable plan for how he's going to maintain the campus/buildings, and last I checked he didn't have a good explanation for where that money is right now.

BTW you didn't respond about him lying about being a doctor. :jbhmm:

Stripper wise...isn't this the same dude who shames women for sexual behavior, and wants more women to be abstinent? Same dude shytting on weaves right? Stop falling for this faux conscious shyt.

you nikkas are easily hoodwinked "Dr Umar Johnson" :laff:

where did he earn his doctorate? :childplease:
And didn't he claim to be a descendent of Frederick Douglas?? :wtf:

Any brother that throws on a Dr, some glasses, uses 3 syllable words and talks some pro-black shyt can get a check to build a "school" which never got built. nikka been :eat: off black people looking for a saviour:heh:

He's like a pro-black version of Creflo dollar

Whilst I'm not the biggest fan of Tariq, at least he gets shyt done. Umar Johnson is a fraud.

how the fukk you having a discussion about him with him not there?

Like what is the purpose of this bullshyt now?

ANd even if there is issues with Umar, that should be dealt with from within. Not amongst the likes of these people. Gotta check him for even discussing it with them and putting this out.

Ok so I looked up these so called grants allocated for minorities and they are mostly a bunch of contests where the winner gets money for their business

The one that wasn't a contest had a lot of requirements including getting the business off the ground yourself and having it up running and profitable for 2 years, among many other requirements

Now why in the fukk would a business that has been up running and profitable for years need a grant?

Son made it seem like any minority with a business idea has grant money waiting for them and that is totally not the case.

After seeing Umar v. Jesse Peterson, I really don't want him v. A legit white supremacist who is good with words. I don't find him to have debate skills. With that said, Tariq and Jason Black would kill Andrew and he's not going anywhere near that.

Only going to respond to the bolded. The other stuff is expected blah blah blah.

Where do you get the idea that he doesn't have a PhD? :jbhmm:

Because this seems to be an all too convenient excuse that every Umar hater uses.

This is very ironic since Dr. Umar constantly reiterates the fact that black people have white friends, but white people don't have black friends. Like another poster said, Charlemagne is fine when he's being silly, but when he starts talking empowerment, his co-host starts getting defensive.

Because black people don't understand white supremacy, they have a hard time understanding white supremacists. White supremacists are not necessarily white extremists. They are out and about in everyday life. They are your co-workers, your classmates, your bosses, etc. Even your friends and sometimes your mate.

A white supremacist is any person (even a person classified as non-white) who in thought, speech or action confirms an allegiance to the idea of those classified as white dominating those classified as non-white. That's it, and that's all. So, as we live under a system of white supremacy, any person, even a person classified as non-white, who believes in keeping the current system or status quo is a white supremacist.

I say all that to say that many people like Charlemagne finds themselves in one-sided relationships with white supremacist posing as their friends. Because any person who is "friends" with a black person who is not invested in removing the system of white supremacy, which systematically oppresses black people, is not a friend at all. In fact, they're an enemy with a smile.

Peace

I love you :mjcry:

Nothing said in this podcast that is going to end their friendship/business..

They have spirited debates ALL THE TIME..

And if you really pay attetnion CTG was going in Circles..
First he said he believes in Umar Johnson message.. and when Adam debunked them CTG went

"Freedom of Speech Mode":mjcry:

When pressed more..CTG was reduced to "I was just trying to promote the interview on The Breakfast Club ":whoa:

to

Umar J.. say the same thing that white hate groups say, just in a different way

:wow: @ that heel turn

I didn't listen to the show. But I don't expect much less from CTG. He's not very schooled and he's obviously an integrationist at heart, so he's going to acquiesce at one point or another.

But at least he's aware that he doesn't know and he invites people like Umar and Tariq on the BC. Because Envy or Yee wouldn't.

Peace

I'll say this, Umar is attractive to people who don't know any better. He speaks fast, seems to have a few credentials, but a lot of what he says is superficially specious and implausible and largely inaccurate. And I work in these science fields...but i'm not famous so I don't get the profile to call him out on a lot of the shyt he says thats wrong. Tariq too sometimes.

Because the burden of proof is on him

If you claim to be a doctor we want to see proof.

He claimed to be related to Frederick Douglas, that was a lie.

He claimed to have been planning to build a school for children, that was a lie.

He claimed to have been celibate, that was a lie.

and yet people are expected to just keep giving him money cause he's going to singlehandedly solve black people's problems???

For people who criticise church and organised religions what difference is this from the Ol "Jesus gon save me, lemme donate to the pastor:sadcam:"
Just replace pastor with Umar Johnson:mjlol:

In the Silver Lining
I want Umar, Tariq, and or Boyce to talk with A. Jones or Mike Rivero.

That dialogue is needed between "seemingly" disparate groups. A. Jones interviewed L. Farrakhan earlier this year, and amazingly there was little commentary afterward from black/indy media or MSM.

2 weeks ago, Tariq said A. Jones was a white supremacist on the conspiratorial tip, even though all Tariq talks about is conspiratorial agendas against black folks. Yet, a few days later he said he wanted L. Farrakhan in Hidden Colors 5 to talk about health/ nutrition. So what would happen if Tariq and A. Jones dialogued....hell i'm there just for the ?

If you happen to listen to the A. Jones/L. Farrakhan interview, you'll see they agree on a lot of points. So yeah, I like to see these pundits that appear as if they are polar opposites to do authentic interviews, cause what tends to happen is their audiences and pundits themselves realize there is a lot of common ground...even though there are different baselines.

:dame:

The fact that charlemange does happily does shows with a cac is suspect.

No. Disagree. You need open in your face dialogue like this sometimes. It sharpens ideas, and the audiences also benefit from not being in these intellectual ghettos/enclaves.
