The reality is... You're not gonna help my parents pay their mortgage if my dad loses his job tommorow. You're not gonna help put my brothers and sisters through college. All that black unity stuff is just rhetoric.
That's the problem, because people think somebody is gonna come along and save black people or there so focused on what we need to do to "save black people" when they haven't even gotten their own houses in order.
If y'all want to help black folks, help yourself first, then your family and extended family, then start doing local work around your community.
I put money in more black people pockets and done more real life charity work than 99% of the nikkas on this site, that don't change because I refused to worship a 2016 pulpit pimp.
You just don't get it, do you? Did I mention anything about me waiting for someone to come along to save black people?
My issue is, you and other black people having a " it's about me and my family" type of thinking. This hasn't gotten the black race anywhere. Yeah I understand you have to start with yourself but that's common knowledge. What you do after is just as important.
When our people did well (before integration), we operated as a group. We looked out for each other. Those days are long gone, as a majority.
And lastly, how do you know what nikkas on this site are doing offline to help their communities? Do you want me to write down a list of everything I do? If I did, what would be the point? To make this into some I help my people more than you do contest. The selfish mentality, I do this and you don't shyt gotta go. It's about the people and always should be. The only way the rest will prosper.
