Pretty dumb perspective though. Him being a championship boxer really isn’t the point, it’s the fact that he was willing to go out there and put it on the line as an actual fighter. Something the majority of men are afraid to do.

Most professionals first dozen or so matches are against bums or journeymen in boxing and kickboxing has an even bigger lack of overall skill outside of the greats. what you can hold against him is that he never stopped fighting bums so yes he was a middling at best fighter relatively speaking. I still give any guy respect for going pro because I only boxed ammy and that shyt is hard asf, these dudes make a living off fighting. not easy at all
