If they don't extend him now, some team will likely max him next year. With that said, Utah; Chicago, and Philly should be offering their restricted FA's(Exum; Lavine, Biid) Steph Curry type extensions right now.
they cant offer steph curry type extensions cause the majority of those players arent all nba teamers, nor have been in the league long enough
i dont think wiggins can get much more than what he's being offered right now
For instance, under the current CBA, maximum salary tiers are divided based on a player’s years of NBA experience. Players with six or fewer years under their belts can get up to about 25% of the cap, players who have played between seven and nine years can get up to about 30% of the cap, and veterans who have played 10+ years are eligible to sign for about 35% of the cap.

i think he meant the deal Steph signed before this one. That 4 year for 44 million deal which eventually helped them get Durant.

didnt realize the context of them all being injured/injury prone and looking at cheap deals
either way...none of them are going for less than 80mill guaranteed to be absolutely honest(embiid getting 100+ regardless)...which might be the equivalent of that 44 mill deal....all things considered with the cap

You don't think Exum; Lavine, or Jabari Parker won't take a Curry type extension? Especially Exum, whom hasn't really played produced and has major injury concerns.

out of those 3...exum is the most likely candidate
someones gonna throw money at jabari...cause hes a restricted free agent...the same for lavine. both have shown high ceiling potential...and have had great games at this level.
exum will have a break out year in my opinion. looks like he got his first step back...after that acl injury....straight up someones gonna give him atleast 70 ms.
but to be fair....to say exum will get a curry deal is kindve disingenuous cause curry was a straight up force even before his 44 mill deal.....that contract is the greatest bargain in the history of the nba...for the production he put up during it.

Is he worth it? Like is he that good. Never watched him play where he did much.

Good athlete, good scorer, still super young and puts up over 20ppg. There's no way not to Max him when cats like Otto Porter are getting maxed. Him not putting up any numbers besides scoring means nothing to be honest.
