He has those games like last night where he is legitimately invisible.

No assists, no steals, no blocks, and 1 rebound in 29 minutes.

Thats the thing that is most worrisome. I understand not shooting well and not putting up big points. But he should be active enough to at least get some rebounds. I guess when you guard Kobe the majority of the game and he shoots 13 3's, you're pulled away from the basket, but it's not a good sign if he's willing just to slide down to the 4th option behind Rubio, Martin and Towns so passively.

He's never played like you want him to.

That's the thing... the guy has always demonstrated to not be an impactful basketball player. I mean, check his statistical trends, advanced stats, +/- differentials, etc...

He's just not that type of player. He's always been that way.

He locked up Kobe at the end of the game tho'. His impactful performance, despite the stat sheet, was major towards the win.
