thats my only complaint bout android. i dont think i should have to root my phone to get the latest update. it took forever to get ics on my galaxy nex. smh.

You shoulda copped the GSM unlocked version..
Most devices are low-mid range and would serve no purpose in the upgrade. Most high end phones are on 4.0 or moving towards 4.1.

Google needs to do a better job of ensuring the high end phones get the updates quickly and uniformly tho
