Go sms was the GOAT until they updated a few months ago. shyt is beyond garbage now.

Using handcent currently. It's OK.

8sms... has option for the texts to popup if your on a game or something so u dont have to stop it and go to the text app... convenient

Textra they have a gif database with all kinds of gifs to send people.
Changed the way I express myself in texts

Verizon Messages. It's the closest thing to iMessage for me in terms of syncing and doing texts across my Galaxy S6, iPad, and Mac. I can send SMS texts directly over Wi-Fi when i'm not on my phone using my Verizon number. Plus the app is now Material and extremely customizable.

Funny that Hangouts could never do this.

I also use WhatsApp when i'm interacting with friends and fam overseas.
