:mjcry: Rest in peace Paul brown....Marvin won't go anywhere until he decides to sit it down himself or mike dies.
Look at that nikka laughing so heartily :mjcry:

Bet you they vacation with their families together in the summer :mjpls:

Typical mid level management suck up.

:heh:

Lewis' record is 95-94-2, 0-5 in the playoffs. I think it's time for a change; there's a ceiling on how far Lewis can take you as a coach.

Then again, the Bengals had like a .314 winning percentage since 1990 before he got there, so maybe they don't want to go back to the bad old days.

:comeon: is it his fault he has to work with Dalton?

shyt I consider it a fukking miracle he turned around the Raiders garbage ass offense and had them top 10 in that 1 year he had there. Something they haven't achieved since the Gruden/Callahan days.

I consider it a miracle he gets ANYTHING out of trash ass Dalton at ANY point since he took over as Off Coordinator this year from that fraud Jay Gruden.

But carry on..:sas1:
:mindblown:
you are clearly trying to spin it too hard, seems like you have an agenda :heh:

jay grudens fraud offense last year :
6th in points
10th in yards
top 10 passing offense across the board:
3rd in pass TDs
9th in net yard/attempt
9th in first downs
the biggest knocks were turnovers, and picks from andy dalton

hues offense this year:
21st in points
19th in yards
30th in pass TDs
15th in net yard/attempt

this is by far the worst dalton has looked in his career, but lets blame marvin who coaches defense :pachaha: when in fact bengals have always won with defense, and whenever their D holds up and overcomes terrible turnovers by offense, they win.

nikkas baseless love for hue is hilarious. dude is ass.

you havent provided a single fact to backup your claims. if this was another OC in hues place I bet youd be singing a very different tune.
youre letting your personal sympathies get in the way of facts

I also dont cape for marvin. he should be gone at some point too. its just intellectually dishonest to blame him for offenses woes and conveniently skip the offensive coordinator :heh:

To cut guys like Kaep and Dalton, it's the shyt that could make you lose your job.

Cause how bad do they have to play for you to cut them? Cause if you think this is a bad year for Andy and you cut him, and he goes to the Browns and whoops your ass for years, you're the biggest idiot in the league.

This whole "Oh, the contract aint guaranteed we can cut em and save all this $" stuff is crazy.

These dudes are going to be allowed every opportunity humanly imaginable to prove they're worth their deals.
so like Ive said, it comes down to having balls and going for higher risk higher reward situations as a GM.

everyone is so afraid of cutting a qb. would the bengals be so much worse off with someone like pickspatrick this year?

replacement level of qbs is at all time high. GMs do moves to not piss off the fanbase and keep their job instead of trying to make teams better. you have to be cutthroat as a GM in the NFL

Im a fan of risk-taking GMs, unlike I am on the field with players. paying everyone 'market' salary and having no balls to cut a qb who isnt very good will make your team alway be in NFLs purgatory. you will never be 'very bad' but you will never seriously contend.

Hey man, I agree with you.

It's just not the way it is, no one wants to potentially be the guy who let a franchise QB walk for nothing in return.

and its a damn shame. thing is, it doesnt have to be nothing either. you can still get considerable picks for some of the qbs

you have people shytting on cutler or dalton, but reality is some teams would give up at least a first rounder for them.

its just that media+fans have 1) no patience 2)have qb bias :manny:
media+fans are just as bad. they dont want to go through rebuilding and have illusions about their not very great qb making them contenders :manny:

as a GM/coach that wants to keep the job, a qb like that is a goldmine. look at how much mike smith/dimitroff stuck in ATL

it really comes down to their performance and the cowardliness level of the GMs :manny:

I think you're right someway tho, because they really have to underperform badly for them to get cut. like, dalton would have to have at least 4 more similar performances like this to be outright cut imo
Marvin is the one that's been pushing this "Andy's our guy" shyt since DAY ONE. He's the one who's treated the retard with kid gloves and refuses to bring in any legitimate QBs as competition or a back-up plan because they dont want to hurt his confidence. I mean, the fukking 49ers had a back up plan when they had GODDAMN JOE MONTANA. You don't go all in with a QB like Dalton. And the fact that he doesn't come out and say so or doesn't come out and say that his job is in jeopardy is fukking PATHETIC. Marvin is the one who has been here for 10+ years. Not Hue.

Nah, man. I feel like with a decent QB Hue's offense will work. But its looking very similar to the offense we ran when we had Carson and Ocho and TJ. We have comparable and possibly better weapons. But our QB can't throw shyt accurately past 10 yards downfield. I mean, I know its stupid to blame everything on the QB, but when your QB is throwing and having the type of game that leads to a 2 passer rating, NOBODY IS fukkING HAPPY. You think the defense is okay with that? You think AJ is okay with risking his head on every over throw across the middle? That motherfukker is FED UP. He's a good company man though so he'll keep saying the right thing up until he doesn't have to. Of course "he wants to play with Andy Dalton." He's not the type to throw him under the bus.

But somebody fukking needs to. Andy Dalton would have been benched by now at pretty much every other organization. And Andy Dalton wouldn't have the weapons he has here at most of those places.
