Dude's only been in the league 3 fukking years man. Not everybody is Tom Brady.
What he's accomplished in the regular season is relatively impressive, especially for our fukking franchise. Add a run game and an offensive coordinator who knows how to call plays that actually, like, fits the players, and he should improve. Dude's improved EVERY SINGLE YEAR from his last year. I don't expect anything else.
he had 33 tds, although he ahd 20 ints, he had like 2 or 3 games where he had 3 plus.
This is the coli. If you can't carry your team in your first year, you are a scrub. They already bashing Manziel off scrimmage numbers.
The way I look at it is he has played better than the guy he replaced (Palmer). So he's good enough to get them to the post season. He's also put up big numbers in the reg season. He's still very young and has improved every year. You hope to God he gets it done this year but Bengals seemed to have sh1t gameplans in the playoffs IMO.
If he falls on his face again in the playoffs, then you gotta ride it out till the next year. Nikkaz forget Elway in the playoffs to start his career. Peyton had 1 TD and 2 picks in his first 3 postseason games.
Basically, give the guys some time before you toss em to the scrap heap.

The point is the QB position is greatly over paid. Unless youre elite you shouldnt be getting this type of contract.
The team now has less money to build around.
Having a great qb means absolutely nothing if the team around him is mediocre.
Soon as flacco got that contract look what happened to the ravens. What have the bears done? Or the lions?

But he's getting paid like it. If getting to the playoffs and coping Ls in the first game is the goal then far be it from me to rain on your parade. Even that will become harder once his salary jumps and you gotta pay everyone else.

That's how it usually goes. fukking up/stepping up is like a virus on playoff teams. But we can't say a guy is worth 1/6 of the cap and cop pleas for shytty playoff performances though. It's on him, and all of these big money QBs, to actually show and prove.
