I think Alex Smith has the skillset to be a very good QB in key situations when needed to push KC over the top as I have seen him this season make some plays in high pressure environments.. and keep in mind he hasnt really even turned the ball over... Its just gonna come down to Andy's playcalling and ultimately Alex's mental capacity

Alex Smith mental capacity is high it's apparant but his physical skills are limited. The Alex you see is what you get. That being said je could make the chiefs a contender as is. As he did with the 49ers prior to Kapernick.f
