You know what kills me? When they initially pitted the Caitlin and Angel rivalry and then because Caitlin has a better team and started winning more games, all these sports media people and podcasters started saying things like "Caitlin is just on another level right now" and then I noticed they tried to pivot a rivalry towards Caitlin and Paige (when they've yet to play a single game).
Now that Angel is playing out of this world and Caitlin hasn't played in a while and stunk it up in the last few games she did play, nothing but crickets...

CC has a large (maga really) fan base. And the WNBA has zero idea how to properly market their stars. The fact Aja isn't bigger than she is is proof of that. Long term they could have something if they properly pushed Reese (and some of their other potential stars) but unless it's a leadership change and strategy change in how the WNBA approaches things I'm not hopeful of that happening.

At the rate she is improving, if she stays on her current trajectory, she will be a serious MVP candidate by year 4. Sky do need a playmaker though, ironically enough Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese on the same team would be a nightmare for opposing squads because they both kind of need a player like the other on their respective teams.

Goomba Wale or mybaby Cooper from Phoenix would both fit perfectly with Angel. Goomba Wale is somewhat of a chucker though, Cooper is like a female D Wade and I think her and Angel would be a great duo. She's a slasher and Angel would eat just off cuts and shyt like that.

Bro if Angel had a legit playmaker on the team who could bring the ball up to her and let her play off the ball(from what I've seen Angel can play off the ball pretty well as well) I think Angel would definitely be a 20/10 type of player on a regular basis. I wouldn't make her the primary facilitator just a secondary one, her ability to grab boards is generational... unseen in the women's game until this time she really needs to play to that strength still if it can be made to happen.
