I say the InVasion angle because while it would have been a lot better with Steiner, Flair, Sting, etc. signed at the time, it still gave us the InVasion PPV which I ran out to buy on DVD, that was piff.. It gave us Trish and Lita fighting Stacey and Torrie It gave us some piff Meth vs. Ribs matches.. and Ribs overall was way over at the time and it also gave us that ridiculous Kurt Angle vs. Shane McMahon street fight at KOTR. Plus, the Survivor Series Winner take all shyt is nice too.

The "Choppy Choppy Your Pee-Pee" feud between Val Venis & Kaientai



I thought this whole story was fire. I was in middle school and I remember being glued to the TV to see what would happen next. If I recall, Taka was beefing with Kaientai, so he partnered with Val against them (after Val had made the porn with Yamaguchi's wife), but then Taka turned on Val in the match and they gripped him up.

The story went on throughout the night and they actually ENDED Raw with the cliff-hanger. Nowadays, you almost never get Raw ending with a lower/mid-card feud.

Even the goofy-ass pay-off where he got saved by John Wayne Bobbitt and explained that the sword missed him because of shrinkage had me like

All of his storylines were dope to me:
"Land of the Rising Sun" with Mrs. Yamaguchi-san
"The Preacher's Wife" where he was banging Marlena.
"Saving Ryan's Privates/Sister Act" where he was banging Shamrock's sister Ryan.

Kind of wish they'd do with Fandango what they did with Val Venis. When he first debuted and was running game on Naomi, I thought that was going to be the direction they were taking. He'd have been WAY more over and interesting that way.

That angle where HBK was all of a sudden was "broke and in debt" and JBL made HBK his personal slave to pay off his debt. I thought the whole premise was silly since Shawn being best friends with HHH he'll never be broke so I could never go along with it. The only good thing about the angle was when everytime JBL zonned HBK he would make a type of face that would make me laugh every time.

The Torrie Wilson vs. Dawn Marie angle where...

Dawn couldn't beat Torrie in those bikini/lingerie contests, so she seduces Torrie's dad Al to play mind games, but in doing so falls in love with Al and yet at the same time starts fantasizing about Torrie which makes her offer a deal to Torrie where if Torrie agrees to sleep with Dawn, Dawn will cancel the wedding with Al. Torrie sleeps with Dawn thinking that the wedding will be cancelled, but Dawn re-negs on the deal, marries Al, and kills Al via sex on their honeymoon which ultimately leads to a match where Torrie looks to avenge her father's death.

This was awful.... but I couldn't stop watching/being interested. It really was a soap opera angle. It was hilarious.
