37-24 for Nigeria at half
@Claudex your boys sleeping breh

Real shyt about 5 hours before the game I told my pops that I wanted us to lose. Homie looked at me with straight

: "How is it I ended up raising a non-patriot?!"
Why did I want us to lose? 'Cause:
1. I could tell that the real underdog here was Nigeria.
2. I could tell that our team was in no way, shape or form up to the task at hand. Angola's been extra-sloppy this whole championship.
We've got so many goddamn Fiba golden trophies that missing one is hopefully gonna jolt us back from the complacency levels we've reached. And I'm not talking about our players, I'm talking about Basketball funding in general in my country. Our athletes are forgotten in between championships and when the championship is around the corner suddenly we all expect miracles. nikkas hardly get payed, and I bet they're always playing thinking about a family member dying due to lack of funds for the most basic of shyt (untreated water, malaria, no electricity, no gas at home). But come show time we expect them to "give their best".
Well reality just hit.
I could say more but fukk all that, shout out to Nigeria 'cause them nikkas put the fear of God on our players.

And

at the Angolan team's captain for taking off his silver medal seconds after the association put it on him. He showed the whole of Africa the exact reason why we shouldn't have won shyt.
At the end of the game pops was on my side talmbout: "This team just ain't what it used to be.

"
Let me know who's Nigerian so I can rep them for this one. We got served something serious.
