My opinion will be unpopular, but here it goes.

Women should always look for ways to de-escalate situations like this. Its fukked up to always have to take the passive route but it can save our lives.

There are men out here who hate women and there's nothing we can do about it.

In this situation, he would have said something to me, I would have nodded and kept it moving. If he would have escalated it, I would have responded "my fault" and drove off.

If a man is not allowing you to drive away, lie and say the cops or your husband is en route for whatever reason. If this lie does not make sense for the situation, scream loud af for as long as possible. Screams have been proven to save women because they startled. Screaming "fire" has been proven to draw people to you. Once he slapped her phone away that was the time to scream. Not hit him.

Lastly, as soon as a man approaches wrong, take a pic of his car and let him know you just text it to your brother. Do this as soon as a mofo starts acting up. If he's a bytch you can even be a little more gangsta about it and make it clear yours is not a family to be fukked with.

If you carry, just pull out as soon as a man directs attention to you so he can decide if its worth it or not.

The crazy aftermath about all of this is how people seem to be more focused & angry about the camera man (who called the police for help) rather than the actual cac who attacked the woman . The man recording did his job like he's supposed to like dude called the police & stayed on the phone until they arrived you DON'T have to physically intervene. My mother and father taught me growing up if you see somebody getting assaulted & needs help call the police (that's their job), YOU don't go out of your way trying to be a hero and wind up bleeding or dead altogether.

People especially on social media or forums talk the most shyt like they would've done some over the top heroic rescue, funny thing is that some black people in particular wanna focus on beating/hurting the camera man with the quickness but avoid having the same energy towards the cac WHO'S THE REAL PERSON AT FAULT !!!
