This is an amazing move. They conquered the LKL and its time for the next step up. Li and La will be superstars in the Euroleague in no time. :myman:

LiAngelo showed a lot of maturity in his time in Lithuania. I think the China incident humbled him. The problem is LaMelo acts like a 12 year old coddled idiot still and his dad won't do anything about it:ld:. He doesnt even attempt to play real basketball while LiAngelo was actually trying to do what the coach was saying and be apart of the team

At the end of the day.

He made money off them they made money off him.

It was a equal investment.

Liangelo got better and now elgible.

Lamello i think he probably play in london next year.

Iavar a smart buisness man Lithuanian ran its course its time for something new.

Lavar has won on every turn so far and i expect he will win here as well.

No losses

LiAngelo may be fine, but there was never as high of an expectation for him as there was for Melo.

LaVar made a point in saying that he had the potential to be better than Lonzo, but now he's going to have to spend years looking for an avenue to develop gradually into a complete player.

Is he seriously about to have LaMelo's platform to the league be through the JBL or is going to play for another international?

I guess the ONLY thing that irks me is that they didn't let Melo finish any kind of school out, so he's going without a diploma or any kind of college networking. Of course, there's the assumption that he'll be fine financially because he's big bro's in the league, but nothing's ever promised for Lonzo and dude's got a baby on the way.

How's the kid going to be able to do anything for himself if his pops keeps interfering before he can get established?

The Truth
He wasn’t giving them playing time

Gelo was literally going to every practice (article is wrong, Melo was the one with the ankle injury I think), was one of their most consistent players, one of that leagues better scorers, and wasn’t even starting or getting much minutes as he should in “real LKL games”... especially when you had other players skipping practices altogether and still starting and getting blown out early.

Melo already checked out months ago. Granted, some of it was his fault (not taking games serious, not trying, not sleeping) he was clearly the best PG on the team. Once he stopped getting playing time he stopped giving a fukk like any kid would.

And that team was trash from the jump. Coach opted to play his normal trash instead of playing the nikkas everyone actually tuned in to see. They were getting blown out by 70 before the brothers got there and will be doing so after.

Plus I think Lavar talked to them dudes in London who were dying to get Melo out there. I believe thats the next stop for them

Why does this bother you when Europeans turn pro at 16... especially knowing what the NCAAs policies are ?
