The hypocrisy of The Coli:

Kanye exposes himself as a self-hating cac: Coli flips (rightfully)

LaVar does this: not one brother in here says 'yes.. BUT.. we should cut him some slack because he's a black man who made a name for himself, got BBB hotter than Nike last summer and just started the only real alternative to NCAA basketball and signed players...'

Y'all want Kanye to love black people, but when a black man achieves something y'all are the first to kick him under the bus\

So stop the faux-outrage and just admit your 'black pride' is selective, it's not real.. you don't REALLY want to see black people shine - you just say it cause it sounds good

:scust:
Gotta be one of the dumbest things I have ever read on this website. I haven't seen one fukking person wear any BBB merch. And, the best alternative to NCAA is the G-League. You're just talking out of your ass.

They been out there for like 4 months already, they were not supposed to stay for longer than that

nobody from that team should ever talk shyt on the ball family, they literally got them paid, cause that team was ready to bankrupt. Also they were losing all the games before they arrived :russ: now they win a few with those two sitting out and all of a sudden everybody talking shyt. The team wasnt winning games before them kids got there, probably not paying money to players either :dead:
The team is facing relegation though.

If anything I think this is a calculated move to get them out of there before the team gets relegated

My brother's keeper
When they first got out there ... the coli told me it was a mistake and a horrible move for the two sons careers

Now that they are leaving ... the coli is now telling me that LEAVING is a mistake and a horrible move for the two sons careers

:russ:
Nobody is saying leaving is a mistake, we're saying they should've never gone. It was ALWAYS gonna be a waste of time. Show me one post advocating a Lithuanian minor league team not coming from a BBB stan.

And how many shyt leagues are in Lithuania that there was a level below this shyt to get relegated to?

It must be shyt trying to live your father's dream

I had this conversation with my 16 year old brother the other day who my parents put pressure on to do well.

Make yourself happy doing what you want to do and if they can see your taking yourself seriously the respect will come. Because you will never make anybody happy including yourself following another person's dream

And sitting on the bench in a suit indefinitely suspended at UCLA was what ...productive? :mjlol:

The coli can’t even get their talking points in order when it comes to these nikkas ....

I thought LiAngelo was trash anyways and never had a chance to make the leauge to begin with? Now it’s going overseas has ruined his prospects of NBA stardom?
:mjlol:

I thought LaMelo only cherrypicked and was an “overrated” highschool Player according to the coli scouting experts ... but now it’s “his hopes of playing in the leauge have been ruined because he wasted time going overseas”

There has never been much talk of LiAngelo being an NBA player other then from Lavar. Even Lavar said one of his sons won't be playing in the league. Going over seas didn't hurt his NBA stardom. He did pretty well over there actually. His stardom is hurt by him not really being athletic or built to be an NBA player. He's at this time a poor mans Jared Dudley.

As for LaMelo. Hard to say what his future holds. He's clearly talented, but he lacks some major basketball fundamentals. Did going to Lithuania help progress his basketball skills or not? Lavar seems to think it was a waste of time. "We're not going to waste our time no more", LaVar.

Most people in this thread have issues with Lavar, not the brothers. Getting in spats with high school coaches, UCLA, NCAA, NBA players and coaches, drag your kids halfway around the world to play a handful of games and then pull them out of the league they are in before the season ends is not a good look.

His sons need a good agent and the father needs to go hands off.
LiAngelo should try to get into Italian pro league. I think he's not NCAA eligible anymore since he played pro basketball.
LaMelo should try to get into a major Div I school as much as many coli folks hate the idea of '1 and done'. It may be good for his development as a player and person.

Neither are eligible for the NCAA anymore. That's part of the reason some people are question what Lavar is doing.

If Lavar didn't want LaMelo playing college basketball he still could have kept him in high school/AAU against the best young talent in the world.

Ohh.
What's LaMelo's ceiling? Does he have NBA potential? Or did Lavar gamble his son's future by trying to showcase his skills in Lithuanian pro leagues?

If lavars plan is to make his younger kids into players that can be signed by teams who want publicity stunts, then he is doing great.

If his plan is for either of them to have legitimate NBA basketball careers, good luck.

LaMelo is done for. He isnt that athletic for his size and can barely dunk. He needs a lot of work on his game and since he cant play NCAA ball no more I dont see where he goes from here. The good teams in europe have already put out statements passing on the Balls cause of Lavars clown tactics.

Neither you or I know that. If playing time was a concern he couldve just transferred. Probay more about control
His plan was for LiAngelo to be one and done like Lonzo. LiAngelo fukked up and wasn't good enough anyway so LaVar rage quit to make it feel like the ball was in his court. The stans scrambled to change the narrative and said he was anti-NCAA exploitation and whatever but that's not the case.

He already has one kid that he’s “lucked” into the leauge .... ironically that would be 1 more than any of the coli basketball experts in this thread trying to give him “advice”
