Teachers are underpaid but people give them way too much leeway when it comes to dealing with students. It's their job to teach all children not just the well behaved ones, I was terrible in high school but my teachers were rational people so I just stopped going to class lmao.

Yeahhh growing up, this was like defcon 5 type of spittage with teachers to bad ass students. Hell, my 5th grade teacher had a "ya momma" session with a bad ass classmate.

Shoot, I remember the bus driver threatening kids with a crowbar and pulling the bus to the side, until the kids STFU.

From the thread title I came in ready to say, "You can't say that as a teacher, but some of them kids really need to hear it from someone." Expecting to see some 14-15 year old thugging out or some shyt.

Instead it's a little 10-year-old just being slightly defiant and the teacher straight crashes out like no one's business.

I dealt with kids doing WAY more than that and never once did any of those lines cross my mind.

I started teaching 25 years ago…it’s the same shyt except kids have cellphones now and won’t hesitate to record these incidents…I’ve had kids tell me shyt that I would’ve instinctively fought a grown man for in an instant (win or lose)
