I guess you in the minority bc when I tell ppl I dont want their dog or cat around me they look at me strange.
Maybe. I do experience folks that don't mind their pets, lettin' them sniff and touch folks, etc. I had to grab a dog by its collar the other week because some broad let her dog run off the elevator with no leash, in a HIGH RISE APARTMENT BUILDING. I've only seen her husband(?) walk the dog since.
I find most folks to be considerate, but yeah, there are some that think everyone is supposed to interact with their pet.
Like, I don't want em running up to me licking me jumping up on me dropping fleas and ticks on me, none of that.
Let's not even talk about the dog shyt on my lawn or in front of the house.
I'm only this way if you are in my space or crib. I don't care what haang ups you have about animals that shyt dont fly in my house....Why do you expect everyone to be on board or receptive to your pets?

I had a nikka come over once talking about "we" don't do this or that in terms of keeping pets talking bout cats carry spirits and all that stupid shyt... I asked him.who we was and told him to get the fukk out if he had a problem. How you gonna come over to my house and expect me to hide my pets per you?

I remember as a youth some kids i used to hang with did something foul to a cat. One dude kicked it and it went flying on some soccer ball shyt. They thought it was the funniest thing in the world. After that incident i stopped hanging with them. Almost every person in that group is either dead or in and out of jail
Which is why I don’t go to people’s houses. I don’t like dogs and I hate cats. If you can’t respect your guests enough to lock them away somewhere else then I don’t need to be at your crib. If we outside and your dog run up on me, expect a size 13 across its face, IDGAF if it’s “friendly”, idc if it “doesn’t bite”. Control your fukking pet.
