I don't exactly condone killing animals, but how dare any one be an American and bytch about killing animals, no matter what the reason. Most ppl eat meat multiple times a day. Doesn't matter how the animals are killed...

Shutting down an embedded infrastructure of putting meat into food is completely impossible and futile, even if there was a significant vegan movement. That doesn't mean it "doesnt matter how the animals are killed"...KFC got heat for their treatment of chicken, cage-free eggs have become more popular (even if its a BS label), a bunch of people avoid veal and lamb etc...but even disregarding the food industry, it doesnt make sense to say that people who eat meat cant complain about instances of negligence or cruelty towards animals that lead to their death.

Im far from a PETA activist, but 27 animals dying during the filming of a movie that grossed $1,017,003,568 worldwide is absurd. You tellin' me they couldnt have kept some sheep and goats from dehydrating ?

Mistakes happen and shyt, sure, but that specific example from the Hobbit is pitiful. That tiger almost drowning too is also fukked up. Tigers might go extinct and theyre throwin' them in situations where they could potentially drown?
