Animals reacting to mirrors

There is an organization trying to make a new category for certain animals. The category would be "non-human persons"...basically those that have demonstrated that they are self-aware.

Elephants, Chimps and Dolphins would be included. I think it's a great idea. Those particular animals shouldn't be locked up in zoos.

I'm willing to bet that humans reacted the same way the first time they saw a mirror.

I don't know about the zoo part though...if suddenly it's a problem for those animals(self aware), it's kind of unfair to lock up unaware animals just cuz they know no better...they should all be able to go then imo
