thats because despite how much drastic unrealistic feats and phenotype they put on the character. And no matter how much western people think they cant possibly be Asian/japanese. they are japanese to Japanese people.

To japan, they are all japanese characters, sailor moon, Goku, etc. and it makes sense. White people draw their characters any type of way from yellow skin, to rainbow hair etc and they seem them as white and we are guilty to by seeing them as white as well.

Smh at the excuses given. Japanese people know exactly what they are doing. They look no different from the Chinese yet they draw Chinese characters to look Asian while they draw Japanese characters like white people.
