In the early 2000's I was a security police officer at the General Motors Renaissance Center in downtown Detroit, I would always see Anita Baker pull up to the Wintergarden in a huge black chevy step van/truck (just like a UPS truck only black), it would be just her and her driver, it was very funny to see a little lady get out of huge vehicle, she would shop, sign autographs, etc. very fan friendly, she's a legend and a Detroit treasure.
