Basically this...... as a Canadian and an outsider, I never understood why Americans get so up in arms about immigrants. I know y'all are stressing ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS and I understand that, there's laws in place.... but the whole land of America was stolen and "expanded" under the guise Manifest Destiny and millions of Natives were killed off, just as we (Black Africans) we're building up the land to the lay groundwork for the massive economic explosion the late 19th and 20th century that occurred in the US. Texas to California was STOLEN from those very Mexicans.... yes, they lost the war but the war was just basically America fukking them up and taking the land and signing fukked up treaties for it. How come no one cares about this? I know it's history, it's in the past but WE talk about our history and the past all the time. I'm just playing devil's advocate and providing some context. I don't live with many Mexicans, I've never had any issues with em but it seems like a lot of folks in here have and I hate to say it but the way many of y'all are talking about Mexicans is the exact way cacs talk about us, so we should be wise with our words.
