i would concede that neither should or can have the best interest of aa at heart only because they're not supposed to cater to one race over another. that said, i can unequivocally say that republicans have moved forward more legislation to undermine and damage minority progress over the past 60 years than democrats by a wide margin. so to cop out to "neither has the best interest of aa community" is intellectually dishonest at the very least and a classic case bs rhetoric by conservatives to avoid their record when it comes to minority issues.

you're not looking at this from the perspective of reality. in practice libertarians aka the third party aka staunch states rights advocates would be no better for aa communities and civil rights than republicans. and to even suggest someone in the kkk could even have a brain fart that would be intentionally beneficial for the black community is rather ignorant.
