Announcement of Goldberg Vs. Brock Lesnar could be imminent

I just rewatched the first match over the weekend, and after the first 3 minutes of drawn out posing it wasn't a bad match. Disappointing, but not bad.

I'm just not sure about Goldberg still being able to go. If it's laid out right and both guys bring it it should be a great match like Goldberg and Steiner was. The Mania 20 match was too old school, they gotta let both guys go crazy with their power moves

How would anyone under the age of 25 know the importance of this match? Any anyone over will have doubts for obvious reasons. Let this bomb as soon as possible. It's all to sell a crappy video game people will buy in any case.

The original Lesnar vs Goldberg was nowhere near a bad match it just didn't live up to expectations, understandably, because the crowd didn't even give them a chance before shytting on it. The match was to slow when it should of been a fast paced brawl from the start. A Goldberg return is the most exciting thing that could possibly happen in wrestling. If your not excited about Goldberg vs Lesnar II one of the biggest matches that could possibly happen, you'll have the rest of the card for your indy bullshyt. Smart to do it at Survivor Series because you know nowdays the crowd won't stop crying after Royal Rumble unless an indy bytch is in the main event of Wrestlemania.

This is gonna be lit brehs. Once again dudes complain about everthing. I'm confident that the build for the match will be top notch, but the quality of the match is gonna be another story. Nobody with good sense is gonna get up for a Lesnar/Goldberg expecting a 5 star technical wrestling match, but if it's smash mouth action with enough fukkery, i think it will deliver. The casual fan doesn't care about the fact that the first match sucked, it's all about the two names on the marquee.

do you remember how badly sting's return was botched? mind you sting wasn't even a great talker and yet compared to goldberg he may as well be a superstar.

i highly, highly doubt creative is going make sense of this. not saying it can't be done, but i just don't see them putting in the effort. i mean for god sakes what does it tell you when the seeds for the program were first planted using a commercial for 2K17. they are just gonna force this on us.

luckily they have nothing better going on though.

I'd like to be interested in this... but all I can think of is that terrible Mania XX match... and then factor in that this is 12 years later... and I haven't been a Goldberg fan since like 1999... unless they acknowledge that this match NEEDS to deliver, it'll be a waste of time for all parties involved. I don't expect a wrestling clinic, but it should at least be fast-paced and violent, just enough to stop the crowd from shytting on it. Not sure I can bring myself to get into it, but of course I'll watch it- ain't like I wasn't gonna watch the Series anyway...
