They been creeping these prices up over the years. I’m not going to cancel though.

Netflix, HBO Max, Paramount+, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Apple TV, and Disney Plus are subscription services that draft out my account.

:francis:

Then I got Spotify and Apple Music too and also pay for YouTube Premium.

All those $12-$30 subscriptions add up.
Why you need Apple Music and Spotify? And YouTube premium comes with YouTube music.

My kids use Apple Music, I prefer Spotify. Spotify’s playlists are much better curated to my tastes.

I watch a lot of YouTube videos on working out, hip hop related news, and reviews and ish on electronics before I buy them and hated all those ads on the non-paid version.

Two things:

1) Optimal price for Netflix is $35-40.
1) they trying to push people to the ad service anyway.

Expect prices raises once to twice a year or get T-Mobile.
:manny:
Soon the world will be on IPTV anyway. Streaming companies are pushing people to find another way.

Netflix is still cheap. A movie ticket at AMC for one is still $17. They added 18 million subscribers in one quarter. They will be increasing the ad free price to get more people on ad plan.

They really want the ad supported version to be $20, but they know that'll lead to mass cancellations even if they try to make it $15.
