There's a reason why nikkas aren't allowed to talk shyt about 4ch*n on here. Saying that site's full, proper name on here, is even discouraged.

A nikka on SOHH started talkin' shyt about them, somehow they got wind of it.....and they hacked/destroyed SOHH. SOHH made a temporary comeback afterwards (the projectcovo era); but it just wasn't the same....

SOHH's page on encyclopediadramatica has a rundown of what happened (although with typical stupid, racist cac 'humor' throughout ; it's still fairly accurate on how it all went down ). Not gonna link directly to that page due to one or two questionable (disgusting) images....but here's a quote from that page, from a post on SOHH which pretty much summarizes what was happening around that time:
