The Warriors from last year won big because they were free-flowing (sometimes too much, with the turnovers) and, as stupid as it sounds, having fun out there. RIght until the end of last year's RS when fatigue started setting in and getting the record looked like a chore...then the struggles in the playoffs, coming back from a big hole against OKC, then a historic choke in the Finals...I guess all of that took its toll. Add to that having to integrate Durant, losing various glue players who you went to battle with, as well as Walton who coached to that historic season, and it's easilly understandable that it must be a different atmosphere in the locker room.

Obviously their talent and execution still make them win tons of games, but in some way last year was such a roller-coaster that this one feels like more stuff to go through :yeshrug:

The Coli must be automatically programmed to bash Draymond. fukk did this nikka do to ya'll? :russ:
Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green recently launched his own podcast called "Dray Day" in which he talks about whatever's on his mind including how the Warriors are adjusting without Kevin Durant, and the Remy Ma vs. Nicki Minaj beef.

He's not a fan of how much Nicki references LeBron James in her songs.

"Is Nicki Minaj gonna mention 'Bron in every song?"

"Every song she's released since June 2016, there's something about LeBron in it. I mean, damn, like, LeBron is great, but Jesus Christ, at some point it just becomes...too repetitive. Jesus Christ, you can’t mention 'Bron in every song you do."

:mjlol: He's a salty bytch

Record aside, there's always been little ripples of discontent here and there. How many times have Dray and Kerr screamed on each other? Klay saying he aint sacrificing shyt for KD...Draymond apologizing to the locker room for hurting the team stat chasing...Curry's mom and that fukkery...Iggy with some dumb comment every few months...
I don't think they've been perfect this year or anything but the media interpretation of the team is just so far from reality. No team is close to living up to the standard that the Warriors are constantly held to so I don't know what these stories really tell us.

I remember a casual at my work said the Warriors were struggling this year. I said they were like 30-6 and he was shocked because he hadnt watched them much and all he ever heard was how bad they were and how Durant didn't fit.

I don't think they deserve sympathy, I fully understand why people hate that Durant went there, why they hate Draymond, why they hate the team as a whole, etc. That is fine.

But it's just hate. The media has actually convinced people that the warriors were never even good and just beat injured teams, Curry's a horrible playoff performer, etc. But what's really :mindblown: is that a lot of the people saying the warriors only won because of injuries also said the Cavs only won because of injuries and suspensions.

They're basically just :fire: and don't want any team to be celebrated.

I'm the driver and lead mechanic of the tacklemond is overrated bandwagon but i hope we are all paying attention as to how the media is going to :mjpls: him something fierce if the warriors don't make it to the finals...

Had to throw it out there that tacklemond was essentially a player coach huh:mjpls:

It's still crazy to me that the media ran with this "draymond cost the warriors a title" narrative where without him they get blown out in game 7 on their home court:mjpls:

I wonder what lisa salters is going to catch him saying in the locker room the next time they on abc primetime:mjpls:

They played the best basketball they ever had when Kerr was not coaching the teamtrauss. “, when Luke was letting them do a lot of what they really wanted and Draymond (Green) was essentially player-coach and that has ratcheted up the tension, I believe, between those two figures. And so it’s so hard to say. Is it because they miss Luke Walton? Or Luke Walton’s presence on the team and the success that came with it came to haunt them in some way.”
While a guest on ESPN.com’s True Hoops Podcast, Ethan Strauss elaborated on a little tidbit concerning the Warriors having issues that have nothing to do with basketball, and more about lockerroom incohesion.

If Curry would focus on just becoming a 20-10 guy, and try to be a little more consistent on the defensive end, this team wouldn't keep having the issues and questions that surrounds them.

That's my only issue with breh, and as far as this article, who cares. Either these nikkas wanna be a historically great team, or they don't. It's right there to cement the deal.
