America is embarrassing. we talk so much about stopping the terrorist but when we talk about the KKK everyone suddenly turn into Red from Friday "..Oh that's different"

Truth.

People like to use the KKK as the most visible form of racism...

But when it comes to systemic racism, institutional racism, job discrimination, housing discrimination, etc....people aren't convinced it's an issue and want to see receipts...even though endless articles have been written and published stating otherwise.

I’m not even sure this is worth responding to, but for the record: There is a list circulating online purporting to “out” elected officials as members of the KKK. For reasons unfathomable to me or anyone who knows me, my name is on the list. Given my background, my interracial family, my public record and my personal beliefs, this would be hilarious except that it is probably being seen by a lot of people who have no idea who I am.

She really did whip out the "i have an interracial family so i can't be racist" card!
