Their frame of reference is different because they BELIEVE the encounters are initiated for different reasons, not because the encounters themselves are in any way different.

You really didn't read what you posted.

:snooze:
"African American and white drivers thus frame police stops differently but, these differing frames are not merely a matter of mind. The differing perceptual frames of African Americans and whites arise from and reflect different police practices"

You missed this part huh?

no that is the question. why does it take 3 officers that are full grown to hold down a kid?

It's impossible to keep a person from moving around if they don't want to be still. Ask an EMT or a nurse.

You were lucky, you had a different experience with the police. maybe the cops that bothered you were not 100% shady cops like these pigs. you see how these guys are flying from no where punching the kid. that cop is worse then the ones holding the kid down. See that proves their are different levels to their shady behavior.

It wasn't 'luck'. That's what is being missed here. That's what 'normal' encounters with police consist of. If ALL police acted like the one coming outta nowhere, we'd think that was 'normal' instead of being outraged at it.

It sticks out because it ain't 'normal'.

84% of cops admit to seeing or being a part of misconduct.

From your article....

Standards for what constitutes brutality vary widely.

None of this, however, proves your assertion......

The vast majority of black people stopped and detained by police have done nothing wrong.

Prove it.

That video was...:mindblown:
Should we just let these pigs run into our homes to now without a warrant just so we can avoid getting killed without probable cause?:stopitslime:

Dude was in the passengers seat of a vehicle that got pulled over for a seat belt violation...When have you ever heard of a passenger get asked to give ID and exit the vehicle over a damn seat belt violation? On top of that he said he gave them his information (not sure if that means ID) but they wanted him to leave the car without giving him a reason for the request which they are REQUIRED to do so by law...then some pig comes over, calls him a dumbass and smashes the windows in front of children...All that because they wanted to hassle a passenger without probable cause...

but this mans an idiot for standing his ground against pigs trying to violate his rights...

fukking c00ns...:smh:

When they are to be given a citation for NOT wearing a seatbelt which is a State Law in many states.....

http://www.ghsa.org/html/stateinfo/laws/seatbelt_laws.html
Seat belt laws are divided into two categories: primary and secondary. Primary seat belt laws allow law enforcement officers to ticket a driver or passenger for not wearing a seat belt, without any other traffic offense taking place.

He was asked to get out of the vehicle after refusing to comply with something simple, turned it into something complicated by running his mouth. He was in the wrong from jump. He'd have probably got off with a verbal warning telling him to buckle-up, or, a fine ranging from $25 - 200. Instead, he got tazed and arrested.

He wasn't 'standing his ground'. He was being an idiot and got his card pulled.
