Out of 100 people, 10 people have 1 gun. 10% ownership rate with 10 guns per 100 people

Now each gun owner buys a backup, so 10 people have 2 guns each. Still a 10% ownership rate and now its 20 guns per 100 people.

More guns doesn't necessarily mean more safety. It just means more people are individually protected against the elements.

I think gun ownership has increased since Obama has come to office and that reflects on the chart I posted.

Why have there been 200+ mass shootings under Obama and only about 20 or so for the previous four Presidents? Gun ownership rates stayed within the 40-55% range during all of those Presidencies.

People don't need to buy a backup. I own 2 pistols and an AR. That means 1 person is representing 3 guns.
