I don't know why people use the laughin emojis when it comes to a player's injuries. shyt is tragic to see a guy not be able to use the gifts.

Embiid is an Elite big man prospect. He would step onto the floor as one ofthe most polished big men in the post, in the nba. I, for one, want to see it happen.


Not sure he's more fluid than KAT, but I'm not sure OP knows what fluidity is, so nbd.

There's a lot of quality bigs, he's the one that had superstar potential on both ends.


KAT & Kristaps have come a long, but he should be right there with them. From a pure talent + body standpoint he's the most gifted big since Shaq, way beyond Oden because of how fluid he moves. He's 7'2" 260lbs

Oh I know, but breh looks like a legit 25-10 guy that does most of his work in the paint. I kinda fear KAT will evolve in a tall 3 (haven't really watched the Wolves this year tbh though, only a couple games).

And yeah I'm a sucker for defensive centers like Oden

Nah, I wouldn't worry about KAT turning into that, he was excellent in the post this year, the vast majority of his shots were at the rim out to 10 feet, his jumper is solid and he plays inside-out. He'll take more threes this year just because he's such a good shooter it would be counterproductive not to have him doing it, think of him like Chris Webber type at center.

I think Embiid will play inside-out as well, he'll play the PnR with Simmons and take some jumpers, but his bread and butter will be in the post. IF ( ) he can stay healthy, I'd expect him to be like a supercharged Brook Lopez on offense, and close to or elite level defense. A lot of what happens with him will be health obviously, and how he fits with Simmons and the best way to maximize their talents together.
