Well there's been studies shown that 20 years ago that Black farmers where in trouble and Agriculture is a money spinner. The Plains states used to be democratic till Bush turned on the welfare and they went GOP.

Again if you're waiting for rparations I wouldn't hold my breath (even though the only people even pretending to care is deep blue states) but in the meanwhile if Black farmers (and everyone else). gets what's owed to them then that's a good thing.

But the difference is one party wants to pass legislation that will help EVERYBODY, including blacks (Democrats), while the other party wants to pass legislation that will SPECIFICALLY HARM blacks (Republicans).

The Democrats can do nothing neither can the republicans. The speaker of the house brings legislation to the floor especially anything regarding taxes or money. Obamacare is a social benefit but it was approved as a Tax.

This is money being distrobuted so it needs congressional approval.

The reason it's in the news is to try to make political hay because it's gonna be blocked by the Freedom caucus. If Black people were smart they'd just ask any congressman running would they support the bill? If they do vote for them if they start mumbling vote against.
